Business process outsourcing (BPO)

Business process outsourcing, or BPO, means paying another company to handle part of your work. Big companies outsource whole call centres. Small teams often outsource smaller pieces, like bookkeeping, a virtual assistant for inbox work, or after-hours customer support. It frees up time and lets you buy skills you don't need full time. The trade-off is control and context. An outsourced person may not know your customers or your tone, so quality can slip. Today, some repeat tasks that used to go to an outsourced helper can be done by an AI helper inside your own tools, with your team checking the work. The right choice depends on how much judgement the task needs.
