Perishable data

Perishable data is information that loses its value fast, so it's only useful if someone acts on it soon. A booking question sent to a salon's Instagram at 2pm is worth a lot at 2:05 and very little by the next morning, because the client has booked somewhere else. We work with a solo brow and lash artist whose booking questions arrived in Instagram messages while the artist was with clients. An AI helper (the industry calls it an agent) now answers price and availability questions and sends the booking link, so fewer enquiries get missed. Anything about allergies or skin still goes to the artist, because that answer can't come from a script.
