Product lifecycle management

Product lifecycle management (often called PLM) means keeping track of a product from the first idea, through design, making, launch, and sales, to the day you stop selling it. Big manufacturers buy dedicated software for it. A small label usually runs it from spec sheets, a store, and a lot of notes. We work with Marlow & Thread, a two-person slow fashion label in Melbourne. Each new drop of 30 pieces needed product descriptions, care notes, and size guides. Now an AI helper (the industry calls it an agent) drafts them from the maker's spec sheet in the house tone, and a drop goes live in 2 days instead of 6. Fit notes still come from the founder trying on each piece, because no spec sheet can say how a dress sits.
