Virtual reality

Virtual reality, or VR, uses a headset to place you inside a computer-made space that you can look around and move through. It's best known for games, but small businesses use it in a few practical ways. A wedding venue can offer a virtual walk-through so couples interstate can see the space before they visit. A fitness or wellness coach can run guided sessions in a calm virtual setting. A real estate agency can show a property to buyers who can't get there in person. Most customers don't own a headset, so many of these tours also work as a 360-degree view in a normal web browser. VR doesn't replace a visit for a big decision, and most venues still want the couple to walk through in person before booking.
