What Calendly is
Calendly is an online booking tool. You set up session types, like a 15-minute chat or a one-hour consult, and share a link. Calendly checks your connected calendar, shows only the times you’re free, and sends reminders before the meeting. Coaches, consultants, agencies, and solo service businesses use it to stop the “does Tuesday work” emails.
Calendly handles the booking itself. It doesn’t answer the questions people ask before they’re ready to book.
How a small team uses it with AI
We work with a solo brow and lash artist whose booking questions arrived in Instagram messages during appointments. Those messages waited, and some were missed. We set up an AI helper (the industry calls it an agent) that answers price and availability questions and sends the Calendly booking link.
