What does ElevenLabs do?
It makes AI voices. You give it text and it reads it aloud in a natural-sounding voice. It can also copy a voice with consent, translate and re-voice audio into other languages, and run voice helpers that hold a conversation on the phone or a website.
Can I use ElevenLabs audio in my paid course?
ElevenLabs allows commercial use on its paid plans. Check the licence terms for the plan you're on before you publish, because the rules on free accounts are different.
Can it copy my voice?
Yes. ElevenLabs can make a copy of a voice from recordings. Only copy a voice with that person's clear consent. We write down what the voice can be used for, so it never ends up saying something you didn't approve.
Can a voice helper answer all my calls?
It can handle the simple, repeat calls well, like hours, prices, and booking links. It shouldn't handle complaints, urgent issues, or anything about a person's health or money. We set it up to hand those to a person straight away.
Will callers know they're talking to AI?
