Remote collaboration

Remote collaboration means your team works together on the same jobs, files, and decisions without being in the same room. It runs on shared tools like a project board, a chat app, shared docs, and video calls. Many small teams work this way, with a founder at home, a designer interstate, and a bookkeeper who logs in once a week. We work with an animal rescue whose 45 volunteers used to send their availability by text. Now an AI helper (the industry calls it an agent) collects it through Slack and Airtable, drafts the roster, and messages the gaps, so the roster takes an hour instead of an evening. Remote tools don't replace talking. Hard calls, like who handles new animals, still go to the coordinator.
